The Cler Hotel invites you to discover it ...
Fashion Week: the world of fashion has its eyes riveted on Paris
The final preparations for the upcoming Autumn-Winter 2018/2019 collections are drawing to a close and the final touches are being made to the opening of Men's Fashion Week, which will take place from January 16th to 21st. Large fashion houses and the world’s leading men's fashion designers are expected, including like Valentino, Issey Miyake, Louis Vuitton, Cerruti 1881, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Hermes, and Kenzo, to name but a few. As in other years, young brands and the emergence of talents that will be the big names of tomorrow’s fashion world will also be features of this great couture event. The venues for the parades were chosen in the greatest secrecy. These are divided between cultural locations and prestigious institutions; places that only the guests and those lucky enough to hold an invitation will know about.
After the parades featuring the gentlemen, it will be the turn of the ladies in the spotlight. These will ignite the catwalks during the Haute Couture presentations, which are scheduled for January 22nd to 25th, 2018. Presentations, unveilings, showrooms, parties, and nearly a hundred shows will fill the most beautiful Parisian sites. This is the unique opportunity to discover the latest creations of Dior, Chanel, Givenchy, Elie Saab, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Mabille, Schiaparelli, Givenchy and more.
The Parisian style makes the whole world dream
Immortalised by Inès de la Fressange, Parisian is the most emblematic style of all. It’s copied the world over. You don’t need to be born in the capital to adopt it. Everything starts with a state of mind, so be rock without ever being bourgeois and get the basics right in your dressing room today.
The ‘made in Paris’ look begins with a men's jacket, worn with rolled up sleeves and belted to feminise it. Match it with a white blouse, a sober chemise or a super feminine top. The ‘Ines’ style also involves the wearing of coloured trousers or jeans (black for a working girl look, white for the evening or denim to vary according to the mood) for a cutting-edge look that suits everyone and always remains on trend. The little black dress is another must-have item of the Parisian style. Ideal in all circumstances, it’s always simple, elegant, classy and sexy!
Finally, when in Paris don’t go out without your trench, to be worn in relaxed mode by simply knotting the belt, or perhaps a brown leather jacket (preferably distressed) to wear under a coat, with a dress or jeans.
