Paris, the city of art
Publish on Saturday, 10 December 2016 in Visit Paris
Paris is noted for the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and Notre-Dame Cathedral. These monuments are, of course, symbolic of the artistic richness of the capital. But these wonders, as magnificent as they are, are not all the city has to offer, as the creativity of today is also at the Parisian forefront. For example, there is the Salon Maison et Objet for lovers of design or the Grand Salon d’Art Abordable, which offers a wide selection of work for those who don’t have bottomless bank accounts. Both shows open early next year. Then, of course, there are the many art galleries of the city...
For lovers of design, the Maison et Objet event is back
From January 20th to 24th the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte welcomes lovers of design, decoration and lifestyle for Maison et Objet. The show is divided into three sections; interior decoration; concept and retail; and luxury, design and architecture, all underpinned by environmental awareness. The most prominent designers, including Sebastian Cox, Marcin Ruzak, Zuza Mengham, will be there. You will also be able to meet the famous creator Pierre Chapin, who is to be honoured during this show. Tableware, linens, the world of children, design objects and furniture trends, everything is ready to transform your home interiors. Maison et Objet is a multicultural crossroads of contemporary living.
